THE KIDNEY CLINIC was founded by Dr. J.C. Faircloth. In 1997 at the age of 49, Dr. Faircloth was diagnosed with kidney failure - the result of immune mediated disease that began in 1972. He received a kidney transplant in 1998. As a result of his own disease, Dr. Faircloth determined to provide an opportunity for his patients and other animals to benefit from an intensive program of kidney disease treatment provided by doctors with an interest in and knowledge of animal kidney disease.
